For rental companies

Know exactly who is driving your car.

Every guest photographs their licence and Ghana Card before the keys move, the hire is paid through Paystack before the car goes out, and on a self-drive hire the deposit stays held until you have photographed the car back in. DrivaDash is the checks and the money around a rental — the vehicles, the drivers and the insurance stay yours.

What stands between you and a bad renter

Every one of these runs on every booking, whether or not anyone remembers to ask.

You know who has your car

A guest photographs their driving licence and Ghana Card in the app before a self-drive hire — live, never from their gallery. You see the documents on the booking before you hand over keys.

The money is already taken

The hire is charged through Paystack before the car goes out, with the security deposit on self-drive hires. No cash at the gate, no transfer that clears on Monday, no chasing. Your share is raised the moment the rental closes.

Damage is a photograph, not an argument

Six views of the car at handover and six when it comes back, both shown to the guest. A deduction from the deposit has to cite them and is itemised in writing, so a dispute is evidence rather than two accounts of the same scratch.

A late cancellation costs them, not you

You choose the policy on each vehicle. Cancel inside the window and the guest is refunded; cancel outside it and the hire you lost the slot for is still yours, paid out like any completed rental.

Three steps to your first booking

Most companies are listed within a week — the wait is on paperwork, not on us.

1. Register your company

Submit your certificate of incorporation, TIN, directors’ ID and your current fleet insurance certificate. Super admin verifies the paperwork before anything goes live.

2. Write the listing

Photos, specification, features, rules and your own cancellation policy — the same things a guest reads before booking. Preview it exactly as they will see it, then submit.

3. Take bookings and get paid

Guests pay by Mobile Money, card or bank transfer. You keep 83.5% of every booking, settled to your company account after each rental.

Who carries what

DrivaDash acts as booking agent, never as the owner or the insurer of the vehicle. The line is worth being plain about.

Yours

  • The vehicles, insured under your own commercial fleet policy.
  • Your own hire terms, deposits and driver assignment.
  • Vehicle condition at handover and on return.
  • What each car costs, and when it is available.

Ours

  • The booking channel and the guests who come through it.
  • The payment rail — Mobile Money, card and bank transfer.
  • One shared calendar across your whole fleet, so nothing double-books.
  • Identity checks on every guest before a self-drive rental.
  • Compliance tracking that warns you before a roadworthy or policy lapses.

What you need to register

Have these ready and the review is quick. Missing one is what holds companies up.

Certificate of incorporation from the Registrar-General’s Department.
A Ghana Revenue Authority TIN in the company’s name.
Ghana Card for each listed director.
A current commercial fleet insurance certificate, with the schedule of vehicles.
Roadworthy certificate and registration document for each vehicle you list.
A company bank account or Mobile Money number for settlements.

Why verification is worth the wait

Every company is reviewed before its cars appear in search results, and every new vehicle is checked against your insurance schedule. If a fleet policy lapses, the affected cars come off the marketplace automatically.

That is what makes the “verified partner” badge on your listings worth something to a customer — it is checked, not claimed.

16.5%service fee on completed bookings. That is the whole of it.
  • No listing fee
  • No monthly minimum
  • No charge for the dashboard
  • Nothing taken on a cancelled booking
  • Settled after each rental

Your yard is already full. Fill the calendar.

Register the company, add the paperwork once, and list your first car the same day it is approved.
